There is a new American Apparel store in Park Slope, right off the 7th Ave. stop on the B train, so sometimes we like to go look at the great neon-esque facade!!

We went to Coney Island today. The sky was cloudy, and the air was thick, but we managed to make the most of it!

I have always been a lover of the disco. Disco music from the 70's and Italo Disco from the 80's is what I am really into now. Living in New York has opened me up to a new way of listening to disco......at clubs, rather than on my laptop at home. I can actually go out on Thursday nights to the Tribeca Grand Hotel/ Sanctum, or go see James Murphy and Pat Mahoney spinning the greatest disco tracks this generation has come to know and love. Deitch Art Parade

Ian and I went to the Deitch Art Parade today in SoHo. It went down West Broadway from Houston to Grand, ending at the Deitch Gallery space on Grand and Wooster. There stayed Fischerspooner on their huge float, as Casey sang one last song for the crowd. Here are a few of my favorite photos I took.

United Bamboo

Jonathan and I went to the United Bamboo fashion show afterparty at the Tribeca Grand Hotel......my two fav. DJ's right now, James Murphy and Pat Mohoney (from a previous posting) were the DJ's of the night!!! James played a song I had asked him about on the DFA message board, so that was a great opportunity to introduce myself. The song is by Woolfy entitled "Set It Up."

I Heart Fashion Week

I am interning at a casting agency currently, so I have had the pleasure of attending two fashion shows so far. They were BCBG Max Azria, and his mature line Maz Azria, we had pretty good seats. Ed Banger Records Presents...

Element, a club on E. Houston, entertained us with the Ed Banger Crew, including: Uffie, Sebastian, Feadz, Para One, and many more of their wonderful DJ's. Jonathan and I had the pleasure of meeting Tim Sweeney and Uffie, and he met Sebastian, Feadz, Para One- all of his Frenchie faves!

Alexander Robotnik

Ian, Jonathan, Neena and I have gone to the Tribeca Grand hotel for their Thursday night party a few times so far. This time was special, we were graced by the legendary Alexander Robotnik's presence. He was brilliant, such a nice guy, and overall we had a great time!
