Night out in Brooklyn

This evening, Jonathan and I took a trip over to Carroll Gardens, a part of Brooklyn with cute shops and a nice atmosphere, then went to Grimaldi's Pizza in DUMBO. In the area of Grimaldi's, which is right underneath the Manhattan Bridge, there is an amazing view of the downtown portion of Manhattan.

11 Spring St.

There is a space in New York City's Nolita at 11 Spring St. It is covered in Graffiti by numerous artists from the states and elsewhere. Well, the space is closing due to condo's being built, so this weekend there has been a lot of hype surrounding the ever-changing art being put on the walls of the building. DFA Holiday Extravaganza

Last night Ian, Jonathan and I went to the DFA Holiday Extravaganza at a club in Greenpoint called Studio B. I have reported on another DFA event held at Studio B in the past, and this one was just as good! Here are loads of photos for your enjoyment! Grand Army Plaza Arch

Jonathan took these photos of the G.A.P. arch. It is decorated in very lovely LED lights and brings lots of holiday magic to the Prospect Heights/Park Slope area!

Hello, Nurse! Party at 3rd Ward

Alan and I went to the Hello, Nurse! party at the 3rd Ward space in Brooklyn last night. What an event! There were dj's set up in three different rooms, the music was amazing in all three, and the people were great as well! Tim Sweeney did an amazing job as always, and is such a nice guy!

While Alan and I were heading out, we finally got a chance to hear Luke Vibert play, the DJ we were there to see really. He was actually playing songs that were not of his usual style, but he was still great, and had a wonderful crowd dancing away to his tunes! Here are some photos of then night!
