Flavorpill, One Step Beyond

Flavorpill has a new monthly event at the Museum of Natural History in the Planetarium. Included in your ticket price, you will be able to enjoy multiple DJ's, a visit into the planetarium featuring the commentary stylings of Mr. Robert Redford over the loud speaker, as well as a free admission back to the Museum, quite a deal!

Rebel

Last night we went to Rebel, a club that has just re-opened. The dj's included Jacques Renault, Tim Sweeney and Metro Area. I would highly recommend the venue, with four large spaces for multiple happenings simultaneously, Rebel is definitely something not to be missed.

26th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival

Brooklyn Botanic Gardens had their annual Cherry Blossom Festival yesterday, which was very rich in Japanese cultural events, tons of cherry blossom trees in bloom, and a fun way to gather with New Yorkers on a great spring day!

Prospect Park, Brooklyn

We took a day to see Brooklyn's own Prospect Park, being that it was close to 80 degrees today!

International Beauty Show

This past weekend, my mother and I went to the International Beauty Show here in New York. What you typically do at a hair show is watch stage presentations by some of the most world- renowned hair designers, pick up new ideas and trends, and purchase products. Here are some photos from the Nick Arrojo (1) and Nicholas French stage presentations. Nicholas happens to be one of my mothers' long-time friends, he does amazing experimental designs (the last photo)!

Disco Fantasy

Last night at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, we went to see Lovefingers (www.lovefingers.org) Loud-E, and Tako DJ. Loud-E and Tako are from Rotterdam, and Lovefingers is from California. It was such a treat to hear Loud-E DJ, because he plays exactly what I love listening to, great disco tunes! I had the privilege of speaking with him for a moment, and he was such a kind person, truly appreciative of my praise.
